A First confirmed sighting of explosive burst on nearby star byESA stronomers using the Euro- peanSpaceAgency’sXMM- Newton space observatory and the LOFAR telescope have de- finitivelyspottedanexplosiveburst of material thrown out into space by another star – a burst powerful enough to strip away the atmos- phere of any unlucky planet in its path.Theburstwasacoronalmass ejection(CME),eruptionsweoften see coming from the Sun. [Olena Shmahalo/Callingham et al.] اﺳـﺘﺨﺪم ﻋﻠﻤﺎء اﻟﻔﻠﻚ ﻣﺮﺻﺪ إﻛـﺲ إم إم ﻧﻴﻮﺗﻦ اﻟﻔﻀـﺎﺋﻲ اﻟﺘـﺎﺑﻊ ﻟﻮﻛﺎﻟـﺔ اﻟﻔﻀـﺎء اﻷوروﺑﻴﺔ، إﱃ ﺟﺎﻧﺐ ﺗﻠﺴﻜﻮب ﻟﻮﻓﺎر ﻟﺮﺻـﺪ اﻧﻔﺠﺎر ﻋﻨﻴﻒ ﻣﻦ ا ﺎدة ﻗُـﺬف إﱃ اﻟﻔﻀـﺎء ﻣﻦ ﻧﺠﻢ آﺧﺮ وﻫﻮ اﻧﻔﺠﺎر ﻗﻮي ﺑﻤﺎ ﻳﻜﻔـ ﻲ ﻻﻧﺘــﺰاع اﻟﻐـﻼف اﻟﺠـﻮي ﻷي ﻛﻮﻛـﺐ ﳼء اﻟﺤﻆ ﻳﻘﻊ ﰲ ﻃﺮﻳﻘﻪ . ﻛﺎن ﻫـﺬا اﻻﻧﻔﺠـﺎر اﻧﺒﻌﺎث ﻛﺘﲇ إﻛﻠﻴﲇ وﻫﻲ ﺛـﻮرات ﻧﺸـﻬﺪﻫﺎ اً ﻛﺜ ﻣﻦ اﻟﺸﻤﺲ وﺧﻼل ﺣـﺪث اﻻﻧﺒﻌـﺎث اﻟﻜﺘﲇ اﻹﻛﻠﻴﲇ ﻘﺬفﺗ ﻛﻤﻴـﺎت ﻫﺎﺋﻠـﺔ ﻣـﻦ ا ﺎدة ﻣﻦ ﻧﺠﻤﻨﺎ ﻣﻤﺎ ﻳﻐﻤﺮ اﻟﻔﻀﺎء ا ﺤـﻴﻂ ﺑﻪ وﺗﺸﻜﻞ ﻫﺬ ه اﻻﻧﺒﻌﺎﺛﺎت اﻟﺪراﻣ ﻴﺔ وﺗﺤﺮ ك أﺣﻮال اﻟﻄﻘـﺲ اﻟﻔﻀـﺎﺋﻲ، ﻣﺜـﻞ اﻟﺸـﻔﻖ ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ اﻟﻘﻄﺒﻲ اﻟﺬي ﻧﺮاه ﻋﲆ اﻷرض، ﻛﻤﺎ ﻳﻤﻜﻨﻬﺎ أن ﺗﻨﺤﺖ أو ﺗﻀﻌﻒ أﻏﻠﻔﺔ اﻟﻜﻮاﻛﺐ اﻟﻘﺮﻳﺒﺔ وﻣﻊ ﻣﻨﻬﺎ أن ﻫـﺬه اﻷﺣـﺪاث ﺷـﺎﺋﻌﺔ ﻋـﲆ اﻟﺸﻤﺲ ﻓﺈﻧﻨﺎ ﻟﻢ ﻧﺮﺻﺪ واﺣﺪ اً ﻣﻨﻬﺎ ﺑﺸـﻜﻞ ﻣﺆﻛّﺪ ﻋﲆ ﻧﺠﻢ آﺧﺮ . ﺣﺘﻰ اﻵن ﻳﻘـﻮل ﺟـﻮ ﻛﻮﻟﻴﻨﻐﻬـﺎم ﻣـﻦ ﻣﻌﻬـﺪ اﻟﻔﻠــﻚ اﻟﺮادﻳــﻮي اﻟﻬﻮﻟﻨ ) ﺪي أﺳﱰون ( وﻫـﻮ ﻣﺆﻟـﻒ اﻟﺒﺤـﺚ اﻟﺠﺪﻳﺪ ا ﻨﺸﻮر ﰲ ﻣﺠﻠﺔ ﻧﻴﺘــﴩ :» رﻏـﺐ ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ ﻋﻠﻤﺎء اﻟﻔﻠـﻚ ﻣﻨـﺬ ﻋﻘـﻮد ﰲ رﺻـﺪ ﺣـﺪث اﻧﺒﻌﺎث ﻛﺘﲇ إﻛﻠﻴﲇ ﻋﲆ ﻧﺠﻢ آﺧﺮ . اﻟﺪراﺳﺎت اﻟ ﺴﺎﺑﻘﺔ ﻛﺎﻧﺖ ﺗﺴﺘ ﻨﺘﺞ وﺟﻮدﻫـﺎ أو ﺗﻠﻤـﺢ إﻟﻴﻬﺎ ﻟﻜﻨﻬﺎ ﻟﻢ ﺗﺆﻛﺪ ﺑﺸﻜﻞ ﻗﺎﻃﻊ أن ا ـﺎدة ﻗﺪ ﻫﺮﺑﺖ ﺑﺎﻟﻔﻌﻞ إﱃ اﻟﻔﻀﺎء . ﻟﻘـﺪ ﻧﺠﺤﻨـﺎ اﻵن ﰲ ذﻟﻚ ﻟﻠﻤـﺮة اﻷوﱃ . « وﻋﻨـﺪﻣﺎ ﻳﻨﺘﻘـﻞ اﻻﻧﺒﻌﺎث اﻟﻜﺘﲇ اﻹﻛﻠﻴﲇ ﻋﱪ ﻃﺒﻘ ﺎت اﻟـﻨﺠﻢ ﻧﺤﻮ اﻟﻔﻀﺎء ﺑ اﻟﻜﻮاﻛﺐ ﻓﺈﻧﻪ ﻳﻨﺘﺞ ﻣﻮﺟﺔ ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــ - ﻳﻨﺎﻳﺮ ﻓﺒﺮﺍﻳﺮ 2 0 2 6
